Nohkalikai Falls
Nohkalikai Falls is a dramatic plunge waterfall located near Cherrapunji (Sohra) in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, India. Towering at about 340 meters (1,115 feet), it is the tallest plunge waterfall in India and one of the most striking natural landmarks in Northeast India. The falls are famed for their turquoise pool and the poignant Khasi legend that gives them their name.
